Architectural Services

The phases of APEX's typical process are:

Architectural blueprint with a hard hat, calculator, pencil, and measuring tools.

Pre-Design – (conception)

Identifying clear project and program goals, collecting information from the client, site and city, establishing a framework for design parameters.

Incorporating pre-design objectives, site parameters, related code, jurisdictional requirements and relationships between spaces and site.

Design Development (DD)

Schematic designs are advanced, providing overall look, feel and texture, confirming basic assembly, developing a clear understanding of project scope and preliminary budget.

Agency Review Documents

Plans and document preparation for regulatory groups and review boards. Submitting, coordinating and acquiring building and other related approvals for the construction of the project.

Construction Documents (CD)

 Preparation of  final plans, specifications and other documents as required for use in bidding and construction.

Bidding / Negotiation

Finalizing the target construction budget and schedule, obtaining prime contractor, sub-contractor and supplier quotes, and monitoring the mobilization as required to implement the work.

Project Turnover – (completion)

Transferring the completed and cleaned project to you, the owner, at substantial completion. Punch-list items are addressed and we’ll remain available for questions or concerns.
