Prior to founding APEX, Russell Bennett was instrumental to JCJ Architecture’s Design Team in the role of Project Architect and Construction Administrator for this Project. Located on the Nation’s Territory in the City of Salamanca, New York, the Casino’s initial offering to patrons included over 55,000 square feet of gaming space, with approximately 2000 slot machines and 24 table games; a parking garage for approximately 1,850 vehicles; surface parking for approximately 1,830 vehicles; the Thunder Mountain Buffet and a snack bar, retail store, bar and lounge. The permanent Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel opened to the public on March 30, 2007 with expanded offerings including an additional 67,000 square feet of gaming space with an additional 200 slot machines and 16 table games, an 11-story, 212-room luxury hotel, fine dining restaurants, retail and all related amenities. After transitioning the existing gaming space from the temporary facility to the newly constructed hotel gaming area, the temporary facility was converted into an event center with a capacity for 1,700 guests, along with additional administrative and support space.

The design of the Seneca Allegany gaming facility was the result of a process of exploration, evaluation, inquiry, connection and inspiration. Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel’s success further establishes the prestige and excitement associated with Seneca as a leading gaming brand in the region, fur¬ther expands the tribe’s target markets and patron base, and as the Nation’s sec-ond major gaming, hospitality and entertainment complex, the new facility further complements multiple phases of a master development plan whose ultimate goals ensure the tribe’s, and region’s, continued economic success.
